Terms of Service

By accessing or using the SecureBridge platform (securebridge.akwaabamortgage.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not access the platform. These terms apply to borrowers, bank users, and authorized SecureBridge personnel.

SecureBridge is a verification infrastructure platform. It facilitates the collection, verification, and organized presentation of borrower information for use by licensed lending institutions in Ghana and other jurisdictions. SecureBridge does not provide financial advice, make credit decisions, or guarantee loan outcomes. All credit decisions remain exclusively with the licensed bank partner.

Borrowers agree to: provide accurate, complete, and current information; not misrepresent employment, income, assets, or identity; maintain the security of their account credentials; notify SecureBridge immediately of any unauthorized account access. Providing false information may result in account suspension and may be referred to relevant authorities.

Authorized bank users agree to: use the platform only for legitimate verification of borrowers associated with their institution; not access data belonging to other institutions; comply with all applicable data protection and banking laws; maintain the confidentiality of their access credentials; ensure only authorized personnel access the platform.

SecureBridge handles all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice and applicable data protection law. Bank partners agree to the platform's data-sharing agreement before activation. Borrowers grant consent for specific data uses through the platform's granular consent mechanism. No data is shared without the relevant consent on record.

All content, software, branding, and documentation on the SecureBridge platform is the property of Akwaaba Mortgage Ltd. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

SecureBridge provides verification infrastructure services on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Akwaaba Mortgage Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or any credit decision made by a bank partner based on verification outputs.

SecureBridge may suspend or terminate platform access for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or regulatory requirement. Borrowers may request account deletion by contacting support. Applicable data retention periods apply after account closure.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes.
